Michael Mann’s Heat comes to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK this August

The Michael Mann classic Heat is arriving on the UHD 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format in the UK this August – more details here.

Here’s news of a very big catalogue release for the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format. Michael Mann’s legendary crime action thriller Heat is going to finally arrive this summer. The film had originally been rumoured for 4K last year before encountering a delay. Now though, it’s finally arriving.

The film of course stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Ashley Judd and Val Kilmer at the top of its extensive case. It’s a movie Mann has altered a couple of times, and the version we’re getting is described as the Director’s Definitive Edition. Mann has, of course, fiddled with the film post-its initial release.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray version of Heat is set for release in the UK on August 8th, and you can find more information on it – and order a copy – right here.
